“You are changing the world one little heartbeat at a time”

 

Sitting in front of a 15.6” screen in an almost vacated campus, scrolling through the pages and post of social networking sites, 11^th May reminds of the dedicated 24 hours to the unanimous superhero of the planet.

It would be needless to echo the uncountable sacrifices she has made to let us sleep comfortably right from the time when we cruised around in diapers, the innumerable lessons taught starting from holding ourselves upright above two foot from ground to  ‘a,b,chi,thi’ to ‘one,tuu,thili,fol’ to almost everything else. She fights with a fierce determination and commitment to “nothing is off limits” honesty to keep her children safe. She has endured long hours of noise of the kids who slowly but surely became musicians, kissing away tears and pushing up with “You can do it”, she tries to build another superhero.

Adding up to the tales of her daunting spirit,  these kind of instances would go on and on if tried to capture within the boundaries of permutations and combinations of 26 ‘taught symbols’. The day salutes mothers and above all the spirit of motherhood paying tribute to the sisters, aunts, friends and teachers who stepped up when their mothers couldn’t.
